And I have nothing to sell
This isn't a low-key pitch for consulting services, courses, a Substack or a Patreon.
I have a job I like, various hobbies, a rich and full life. I do not want to consult for you, or for anyone. I don't need your money, but I do think there are many interesting, very difficult, niche areas of higher education that are under-discussed and under-supported.
So if you're reading this through a squinted eye wondering when I'm getting to the sales pitch, I'm not. I'm rediscovering my joy for the subject by writing about it, now that I no longer work in the field.
